Then the population of its nearly nine hundred square mites was hardly more than the population of West Reading today, hut it has grown and prospered until it is one of the fore- most counties of the state, and of the nation. it is a happy privilege, therefore, for us, the hi-centennial ciass, to dedicate our yearhook to those men and Women, many of them forgotten, and most of them humble folk, who have been the cause of our home county's development into what it is today.
