Dear Diary, October 21--Tonight was our Homecoming. We defeated Wakefield, 30-12. The coronation ceremony followed in the school gym. Gee, it was beautiful! The decorations were carried out in the Cadets' red and white. Alice Schademann was crowned queen by Coach Duane Cox. Alice, Pep Club president, then crowned Gary Danielson, Homecoming king. King Gary presented Queen Alice with a bouquet of one dozen, long-stemmed, red roses. The Homecoming royalty are as pictured above: BACK ROW: (L. to R.) Junior attendants, Karen and Leighton Petersen; Third senior attendants, Richard Haase and Marilyn Pospishil; SECOND ROW: Sophomore attendants, John Danielson and Connie Breitbarth; Second senior attendants, Judy Ross and David Brazda; FIRST ROW: Freshman attendants, Lee Landholm and Connie Homer; King, Gary Danielson; Queen, Alice Schademann; First senior attendants, Sherry Kinney and Lynn Jahnke.
