At the right the boys do the old familiar stunt of dressing up like a lady at initiation activities. Picking a chicken covered with syrup proved interesting and fun for these four girls. 13

As the bell sounds for lunchtime every day, we hurriedly rush down to the lunchroom to receive our well prepared dinners. Through the expert cooking of Mrs. Fillmer, Mrs. Tomrdle, and Mrs. Plummer, we are able to enjoy our delicious meals in a warm, friendly, and crowded atmosphere. This year we had the privilege of eating in a room filled with beautiful modern tables and chairs designed in the new pastel colors. Dear Diary, coo i'' cust°dians, and office secretary we had this year, we could not have or enjoy the smooth unning ciency o our school as it is today. We are greatly indebted to these kind people and offer them our many thanks. ° 1 r r Secxetary Shovelling walks, opening up the school, cleaning the halls, and solving many problems the students and teachers may have are just a few of the duties our custodians, Mr. Tony Neeson and Mr. Fred Weineke, perform throughout the year. We do not realize how much these men contribute to the efficient working of our school. Her laugh and smile are familiar . . . Give her a typewriter, a telephone, and a problem; she's content! Let the office become noisy and she's very disturbed. Being the office secretary means real work, and there's plenty that Mrs. McElravy does in the superintendent's office. 15
