We find several interesting sections in the science department. Mr. Davis and Mrs. Clark are new at West Plains High this year. Mrs. Clark teaches general science, chemistry, and physics. Mr. Davis also has general science classes and has two biology classes . The science department sponsors an organization for students interested in the many different phases of science. The name of this organiza- tion is the Science Club. At the right is a scene from Mrs. Thombourgh's geography class. They are deeply engrossed in locating some very famous mountain ranges The students in the geography class have several weeks of map study This map study helps them to be better acquainted with the world they live in They also study loca tions weather and moisture Mike Houston Harry Cole and Ioe Bohrer stand a safe distance away while Smitty Smith tries some thing new in the chemistry lab Hope it works' Traveling Through the Science Department Mr Davis is giving his general science class some firsthand in formation on what makes the world go around I wonder if his theory corre sponds with that of the textbook I Z3
