Mr. Charles W. Roland Mr. Roland is Assistant Principal for Educational Services. The class of '63 is the 14th class graduating from West High School. During these 14 years our school population has varied from 1300 to 3200 and has gone up and down as the popula- tion has increased, and new schools were built. In 1949 West High's attendance zone included approximately half of the Phoenix Union Dis- trict. Five other high schools now have this ter- ritory which was once served by West High alone. I'm very proud to be associated with a school which has taken all problems of a growing city in its stride and yet has attained an academic level second to none in every category. You, the class of '65, have maintained this tra- dition, and the school and community are very proud of you. 1e'24l l 2'a: i Ei i 2W
