c..-J'- Then there's that WeII: Miss Glenna Wilson, secretary to the rincipal. She does the letter writin' and accountin' and such, End helps keep everthin' runnin' real smooth lille. ICE 00055 LOOKY HERE at the flock of purty women! lmport- ant ladies they are, too, 'cause they're all assistants to the principal. Mr. Stone would be a bellerin' like a bull calf if those secretaries weren't around to fetch him his mail, arrange his appointments, and stuff like that. And that there Co-ordinator is as important to Mr. Stone as a Stetson is to a cowpoke. You never seed iist how much that woman and her secretary git done of a day - a heap sight more 'n the forty- odd dooties and responsibilities outlined fer 'em to do. You might say that Miss Elizabeth Titsworth is sort of a foreman, but around these parts they call her a Co-ordinator. Leastways, she shore does keep things a-hummin'. The 'sistant secretary to the principal is Mrs. Bobbie Posteher, the Arkansas gal. She's iist about the tallcinest woman ever- worlcin' the switchboard and the public address system! 3 1 . ,.m.,,,k , 'ls was nn pi , fl ummm, f Wlmy R I H my wgx HQHMA This here's Ann'rie Wilde, and a smart youngin she is, too - really knows her stuff. The students kinder take to him, too, and tl1at's no surprise, 'cause he's al- ways givin' 'em a hand on everythin', and is always aimin' fer them to hev a chunk of self-government. Now don't he sound like the busy one? Doggone right- and belongs To that thar Kiwanis, to boot! And you should see him a tlittin' around in one of them tlyin' machines! That's a heap sight better 'n hoss-back ridin'. fOn yer right, thar, he's a tinkerin' with one of 'em.l Yep, Mr. Stone is one o' the go- gittenest men on campus - and I bet a sack o' gold dust that in the years to come, his work will be highly thot ot! A record o' her own is a smile tor ever'one. IF YER ANYWHERE near West High come the beginning of September, list meander over to the Registrar's office an' take a look-see at the herd o' kids tryin' to get enrolled. More 'n likely you'll also see Mr. Glen Brad- ford a writin' things down, answerin' questions, and really steppin' lively. But he always man- ages to git th' 2500 or so students intuh their classes. When things ease up a bit, he still works mighty hard at a keepin' all the records straight, but finds time to joke and kid around. Though he ain't got no use fer a change o' schedule, he will hep you work one out. And through all the tedious paper work, an' writin' in line, you'll still leave a smilin', 'cause he's that kind of a guy. 5' A E -we 3, l reckon that Mrs. ,fa-.
