Papal Brief of His Holiness Pope Pius Xll Saint John Baptist De La Salle introduced many innovations into the schools ot the seventeenth century that continue oven today. The Teacher-Saint brought Christian order and spiritual iov into the class- room and believed that to ettect a lasting good, the teacher must possess a deep understanding tor the student.
