t'g...Q:.-Qffff -x ,al For these came the culmination of 8 years of study and preparation in grammar school. Few will forget that sunny September when they first tread the corridors and stairs of West Cath- olic and avowed their determination to uphold, to the best of their ability, the traditions of their new alma mater. Now with a year behind them they feel like old grads. At first, taken back by the diversity of sub- jects and activities, they later plunged enthusi- astically until hardly a club was without its Freshman representatives. Nor has this class of 45 reason to be ashamed of its scholastic rec- ord, rather, it has set a target at which future Frosh classes may well aim. A versatile class, these seniors of 45 did not confine their efforts to studying alone but also took an active part in athletics.
