llllll IIllAl The freshman's first glimpse of West is the Sacred Heart Shrine on the campus. The last senior activity is the recitation of the pledge to the Sacred Heart. At the beginning of the football games the players ask the aid of the Sacred Heart. First Fridays the classes recite the pledge to the Sacred Heart, asking assistance during the month and pardon for any offenses committed. We rely on the Sacred Heart to aid us in our school work. our recreation periods and our athletic endeavors. for we know that faith in Him will make us better men. Let's not forget that pledge after graduation.
