Choir - Band Mrs. Henrietta Collins Houston-Tillotson College Choir Directress Mr. Samuel Galvan Del Mar College Texas ASLI University Band Director Not Shown: Mr. Larry Corder Southwest Texas State College Band Director The choir was organized this school year under the direction of Mrs. Henrietta Collins. Membership in the choir is 81. The choir sang for the student body at a Christmas program and performed at the ground breaking services for the new high school. The band is under the direc- tion of two new directors, Mr. Sam- uel Galvan and Mr. Larry Cordcr. A Christmas Concert was presented by the band and they played for pep rallies and football games. Drum Major, Joe Ortiz, made All District in the bass clarinet section and placed sixth in the Regional Con- test.
