Homemaking The Homemaking Department and the Future Homemakers of Ameri- ca Club are under the supervision of Mrs. Benham and Mrs. Meeker. Students learn the fundamentals of cooking and sewing. They are also taught qualities essential for future homemakers. The cooking classes entertain with small parties and luncheons during the year. At Christmas time, they are host- esses to a large dinner party for mem- bers of the School Board and Admini- strators ofthe District. Sewing classes present an annual style show so that parents and friends can see the work that has been done in the classrooms. In connection with the show, students develop confidence and POISC.
