Historgraphy is a new method of teaching American History and is currently being used in some classes . The annual Iohn F . Kennedy Memo- rial Day program is an outstanding event of the year and has been pre- sented by both American and World history classes . f'flf'4A M K The five most important objectives in Civics are to have the students understand the nature ofthe American Governmental system, to encourage respect for law, to promote loyalty and patriotism, to promote good government, and thatgovernment today is an all-prevading social force. HORIZO S Homemaking helps to prepare girls for the future. The aims are to promote international good will and to foster the develop- ment of leadership. In cooking, the first year class serves a breakfast to teachers. The sec- ond year class serves a lunch- eon andthe third year class serves a dinner for the school board, administrators, and the central staff. In sewing, the first year class makes simple dresses. The second year class makes children's clothes and the third year class makes Wool suits, dresses, and coats. A style show is held each year Vocational Agriculture gives boys a Wide range of trades to specialize in. Among some of thes e trades are welding , cement- ing and livestock raising. The boys attended the Annual Live- stock Show in Robstovvn. The Vocational Agriculture building has been remodeled this Year' Vickie De La Garza gets help in cutting out a dress.
