EQUIPMENT r Broader reading for background in writing :- has helped the English Classes obtain more and better use of the knowledge they are ac- quiring . By the use of audio-visual material, Y, such as filmstrips, projectors, record play- ers , etc. , the students are more familiar with the material they are studying. This year, English students will be enter- ing the competitionin the University of Inter- scholastic meet inthe spring. Ready-writing and spelling will be included in the English department. In order to prepare for public speaking, the Speech Classes have been preparing them- selves by debating. While Speech Classes ad lib some of their speeches , they also take great care in making their speeches an in- formative and entertaining as possible. The students will learn an advanced tech- nique in the areas of debating and public speaking to inform and entertain.
