An evening of dining and dancing left a stream of memories which lead us to that road of yesterday. 36 This year's senior breakfast was held on irs rradirional dare, Thanks- giving morning. A large group of seniors showed up ar rhe Holiday Inn in Livingston for an appetizing buffet. After rhe meal was over, the ma- jority of students anxiously travelled to Hanover Park with hopes of hanging the Hornets . Although rhe Rams were defeated, everyone agreed it was both an enjoyable and memorable Thanksgiving Day. 37 the senior trip 38 On March 27, ar 7 00 in rhe morning, 150 seniors anxiously walked through Mountain's doors lugging heavy suitcases and radios After a quick search of every bag, they boarded three buses and were on their way to rhe Tamimenr Hotel in rhe Poconos. Upon arrival rhe students went to their rooms to unpack and then on to explore rhe grounds. Horse back riding, tennis, volley-ball, and pinball were some of rhe activities in which they participated After dinner there was a disco dance and every body had a great rime. A splash parry followed, and those who had enough energy could then watch rhe movie Oliver Mounrainires left rhe hotel ar 12 00 rhe next day and though everyone was extremely tired, all agreed it was a memorable and exciting trip. 39 Gold soared ro new heights of over $700.00 on ounce. But it can't truthfully be colled o complete sports section without the mention of many other athletic activities that Mountain students enjoy. After school many students stop at the locker rooms and then ore off to the fields to practice for their favorite Ram team. There are also those who leave school to pursue individual athletic activities. There ore skiers and skaters, dancers and cyclists, gymnasts and joggers. There are those who skateboard down streets and those who run back up them. Many go off to racquetball courts, while others use their feet and kick around soccer bolls. Of course, not everyone in Mountain participates in athletic events on the fields or in the streets, but those who can't be athletes are always on hand to support the Rams. All these activities contribute to the sporting life at Mountain High School. 77 80 I 82 pOtVfk 'fcJckmoi 83 85 underclassmen V i 88 mJft 95 seniors .. % 3ENERAL OF ICE You con worry your life away with Nor knowing whar each new day may bring ro you Or rake each day os ir goes on Woke up ro rhe love rhar flows on, around you.
