And as we look back over our years a$ students at West Orange High, the pals who stand out the most vividly arc those whom we chose as our leaders. “Once a leader, always a leader” fits Doug Siingtrland, who has been our president for four years. Doug, however, hasn't let his being a big politician interfere with his lessons; for he’s an honor student. ’’Good things come in small packages” is true in the case of our vice- president. And, big or little, Bill Burgess has carried out his duties exceptionally well. Our secretary, Betty Scott, has a quiet charm all her own. Although she takes part in many activities, she manages to do honor work in her studies. Bill Gentilcsco, an experienced revenue man, knows all the tricks of his trade; but that’s not his only claim to fame—he is well liked by all. SPANGLELAND’S STARS 24
