I 'Yr f Meet Mr. Basketball. He has been here as long as the school has. With a magnetic personality, he attracts many admirers, both in season and out of it. During the season, parents, students and faculty members are seen whenever our Mr. Basketball meets with the Mr. Bas- ketball of another school. Out of sea- son, groups of young players are seen oftentimes on home courts, playgrounds, or in the gym, following their leader, trying to learn his ways. Mr. Basketball is a very demanding teacher, requiring the boys to constant- ly run, jump, twist and turn with ex- treme precision. He expects all his players to have coordination, stamina and determination to the highest degree. Only those players who live up to Mr. Basketball's standards ever make it to the spotlight, as was true in this 1971-72 season. However, the young men who made it this year still have worked hard, tasting both victory and defeat as they came along,
