Hey, Hey, you. We're the gold and blue. We're hot. You're not. Show you what we got. The power. The power. The power. No cheer could better recount this year's reserve team. The power was there, and they certainly were hot. Their 16-2 record and undisputed first place in the M.V.L. elaborates their striking performance on the court during the season . After losing their outstanding top scorer, Ted Lemmon, to the Varsity tearn, they proceeded to remain un- defeated in the M.V.L. and prove that they were not a one -man team . They were always seen either leading all the way or coming from behind to take a victory, using their height, quickness, skill and coaching to the full advantage. The Reserves are: fbelow, left to rightj frow lj Randy McFerren, Jody Maxwell, Chris Arthur, Joe Dilts, Larry Hodgson qmgrgg Crow 23 Coach Zechiel, Bill Wolgamott, Ken McKenzie, Mike Brock, Bruce Torn, Mark Gatton, Ron Derry. rss 'ia f it

I 'Yr f Meet Mr. Basketball. He has been here as long as the school has. With a magnetic personality, he attracts many admirers, both in season and out of it. During the season, parents, students and faculty members are seen whenever our Mr. Basketball meets with the Mr. Bas- ketball of another school. Out of sea- son, groups of young players are seen oftentimes on home courts, playgrounds, or in the gym, following their leader, trying to learn his ways. Mr. Basketball is a very demanding teacher, requiring the boys to constant- ly run, jump, twist and turn with ex- treme precision. He expects all his players to have coordination, stamina and determination to the highest degree. Only those players who live up to Mr. Basketball's standards ever make it to the spotlight, as was true in this 1971-72 season. However, the young men who made it this year still have worked hard, tasting both victory and defeat as they came along,
