220 It is hard to believe that the school term of 1971-1972 is at an end. At the start of September, the days seemed to drag along. Suddenly everyone realizes school's out. The smnmer vacation be- gms. The new, inexperienced, staff had a difficult time putting ideas onto paper. Everyone caught on gradually. Day by day, we saw the 1972 Tornado taking shape. At times we had our little U5 fights. Overall, we had a fun time. I think the advisor, Mr. Henderson, deserved more credit than he got. At times his temper flared. I am sure he had his doubts as to the outcome of the book. But he stuck behind us. I'd like to thank the staff for their effort they put forth to make what we think is the greatest yearbook yet. I would also like to express my grati- tude to Bob Murphy, our photographer of 3 years, and A1 Butto, a great repre- sentative, who was always giving advice and lending a helping hand. We hope you, the student body, en- joy the book as much as we, the staff, enjoyed putting it together. Debbie Miller Editor-in-Chief
