Future scz'en1fz'sts exllyerimenzf zrszf at West A science program was offered at West for those students who seek to gain a better understanding of the world we live in. This year classes were provided for anyone interested in general science, biology, chemistry, and physics. General science is a course which teaches thebasic fundamentals of chemistry and physics. The biology classes covered the principal concepts in- volved in DNA and RNA and their effects on the study of plants and animals. Chemistry teaches lessons of elements, compounds, and mixtures, while the students in physics classes study the phe- nomena of heat, light, and wave motion. These courses are coordinated so that no year has material that was covered previously. Mr. Zechiel stresses a point in Biology class.
