The Torna- does compiled a 5-7record with apos- itive aspect of the campaign being the three defeats they pinned on arch- rival Rosecrans. Also, by making a strong performance in Columbus, the team finished eleventh in the Regional Meet. Clearly a team forthe future, West was led by Don Phillis, one of three sophomores.
