VARSITY CHEERLEADERS: FRONT ROW: L to R - Christy Covert, Debbie Henderson, Mary Taylor BACK ROW: L to R - Marsha Fisher, Martha Daw, Bonnie Taylor Through the enduring efforts of the cheerleaders our school spirit has remained the best in the MVL. They taught us the basics of good sportsmanship in both winning and losing, though we went down to defeat only twice this year. The cheerleaders spent many hours after school practicing new cheers. As a result we have some of the most up-to-date cheers in the area. During the summer our cheerleaders attend the National Cheerleading Camp to learn new methods and ways to cheer. Mrs. Gwen Moore, advisor, also spends her time trying to better our cheers. She supervises all pep assemblies, and does a fine job. Through her efforts our cheerleaders have been able to buy new summer outfits along with their fall uniforms. ff Q ar, A Atv- ., T
