Wilson, M. Britton, H. Harlan, D. Archer, C. Ball, M. Bagent Tornado Times Staff Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Tornado Times reorganizes. The Tornado Times started out the 1968-69 school year with a reorganization of the staff. Major changes were made in the following areas: Juniors were included on the staff as well as Seniorsg staff assignments were made more specific, the news- paper was placed on a bi-weekly production schedule, and the newspaper was made available to all students. rather than to a select group of subscribers. It was felt that the reorganization would improve the quality of the paper and make it a much better medium of communications. The reorganization appears to have been successful. Students seem to be better informed and have often been heard discussing items which have appeared in the Tornado Times. We hope and believe that the staff for the next school year will continue with the fine work that has been done and will go on to make the Tornado Times the best high school newspaper anywhere.

The Future Farmers of America is a national organization with members in all fifty states, The West Muskingum Chapter has twenty-two members. In order to be eligible for membership, a student must be enrolled in a vocational agriculture program, At West, vocational agriculture is the agricultural resources program, The F,F.A. is built upon a foundation which includes leadership, character development, sportsman- ship, scholarship, thrift, citizenship, community, service, and improved agriculture. Among the activities in which the chapter has participated are parliamentary procedure contests, public speaking contests, land and livestock judging contests, and community service projects, This year's officers are Lloyd Feldner, presidentg Jerry Weiser, Vice presidentg Mark Noe, secretaryg Bob Murphy, treasurer, Larry Ball, reporter, Dave Wallace, sentinel, and Dick Sorg, student advisor,

Under the able direct- ion of our advisor, Mr, Paul Hastie, we solicited ads sold subscriptions, worked to meet deadlines, and did all the many other things involved in the forma- tion ofthe yearbook. Each member gave many of his after-school hours to the production of the year- book, and all were rewarded with the feeling that comes from a job well done,
