Members of the National Honor Society are selected by merit on the basis of scholarship, leadership, character, and service. Once initiated they are pledged to continue to uphold these standards in their school and community. Participation in all forms of school activities by individ- ual members is stressed more than club projects. The club holds two candlelight induction ceremonies each year. In the fall seniors are inducted and in the spring a small number of juniors become members, to ,, serve as the backbone of the club for the following year.
