This year's football team was the best team in the history of West Muskingum High School. The team accomplished all the goals that a team could possibly accomplish. They had an outstanding record of 10-O and won the M,V, L, Crgwn, In the final poll for the state ratings the team lost out of first place by a matter of a few votes. The team accomplished its goals due to the fine coaching of Coach Steinbrecher. Mr, Steinbrecher promised the team at the end of the 1967 season that in 1968 West would win the M.V. L, and the state championships. The team proved him nearly correct by winning the M,V,L, and finishing 2nd in the state this season. This fine record is a great tribute to Mr, Steir1brecher's great drive and coaching ability.
