Of concern to students at West Monroe High School are the School Board's projects In West Monroe. These include the completion of plans for a new Junior High School and the beginning of preparation for thig school. His friendly humor marks him a favorite :it W. M. H, S. Page 9 t A prineipal's job is never an easy one, but with a. school as large as W. M. H. S. it takes a capable and wise person at the head. We are fortunate in having such a prineipal. P. B. Mangum, with these neeessarj, qualities plus the ability of leadera ship. This is one of the many reasons why West Monroe is top-ranking among southern high schools in four short years. Even though this is sueh a large school, Mr. Mangum has put into operation such a smooth running plan, he is looked to as an example by many high sehool prineipals.
