FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!! Congratulations to the Girls Softball Team for making the playoffs for the first time ever in West Mifflin history. Good pitching by Sharon Sabol combined with an excellent defense contributed to the first no-hitter ever recorded and a 9-0 victory over the contending first place team. McKeesport. The girls had an outstanding season except for a few games. Their overall record was 13-7. They concluded their spectacular season with a heartbreaking 7-6 loss to Brownsville in the first round of the playoffs.
