Nancy Bish The purpose of the Waitress Club is to learn to serve at banquets sponsored by the school cafeteria and to help at them. We have served at the following Banquets: Kiwanis, Masonic, Kiwanis Ladies' Night, Edinboro Alumni, F.F.A., Band, Basketball, Methodist Church Congregational, Junior-Senior, Alumni, and Women's Club. Miss Marian Zets We went on a field trip and toured Wesmoreland Glass, and National Biscuit Company, and went to Pittsburgh to see Cinerama, South Seas Adventure.' Our advisor is Miss Marion Zets. Future Farmers of America AIMS AND PURPOSES The Future Farmers of America is a national organization of, by, and for boys studying Voca- tional Agriculture in public secondary schools under the National Vocational Education Acts. Among other things, members learn through active participation to conduct and take part in a public meeting, to speak in public, to buy and sell co-operatively, to solve their own problems, to finance themselves, and to assume civic responsibi- lity. The work of the F.F.A. is centered around a printed program of work which is adopted by the chapter each year. This year for our demonstration, we chose the proper method of constructing a good, safe, electric fence. We placed 5th in a 5 county area and 3rd in state competition in our division. Chess Club The purpose of the Chess Club is to enable the youth to enjoy one of the world's treasured skills--chess. At each meeting the members played chess among themselves.
