Math, English and history were the required subjects for the students. Many of them worked for credit at Kirt- land Air Force Base. A total of 360 work hours was required per semester for two semesters. A credit in P.E. was required for Freshmen and Sophomores. Juniors and Seniors P.E.' were not required to take it. It was an elective for them. In boys, P.E. there were team and individual sports. With an interest in improving their physical abilities, boys took P.E. II. which also included units in sports and health.
