The same class also had to plan a trip to the Soviet Union. In addition to those special tasks some of the classes had food days which the history classes read many books including A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisouich, Good Earth Exodus and Little Big Man. Some films that were viewed were The Inn of the Sixth Happiness and The Fixer. The anthropology classes had some excavation expeditions. One main event of the historical year was a visit by Senator Pete Dominici. he history department has a reputation for different and interesting classes. The Russian history class made a movie about the social process of Kussia.AThis was-one of the more unusual acts of the year. l l featured different foods from theicountries which were being studied.
