Sophomore Council Class sponsors winter dance, candy sale Buttons proudly displaying Super Soul '73 were worn by many sopho- mores this year. The button sale was one of the council's main activities and succeeded in boosting class spirit. Other activities included sponsoring a Winter Dance on February 27, 1971. in place of the traditional Christmas Dance. A candy sale was held later in the year. Sponsoring the class were Mr. John Montano, Mrs. Dorothy Black, Mrs. Cheryl Auman, Mrs. Darlene Sackett, and Mr. Herbert Graubard. Members of the Sophomore Council were Shelly Ainsworth, Lewis Ankeny, Martin Aragon, Dennis Atler, Gina Baca, Eddie Berry, Laura Bessom, Theresa Castillo, Francine Chavez, Joanne Collaros, Flora Flores, Mike Foulk, Cathi Garcia, Kelly Geer, Scheryl Gerber, Paul Gleason, Marcus Gonzales, Joanne Maes, Bernice Ma- estas, and Bill Marsh.
