Senior council sponsors projects, raises money for gift Starting off a successful final year, the Senior Council sponsored 1970 Home- :oming. Dedicated members decorated he gym for the traditional dance. n November came the 1 + 1 Band Festival starring the Backyard Grass md the West Mesa Stage Band. X candy sale was held in January and 1 melodrama was planned for later n the year. sponsors included Mr. Winston Chris- .ian, Mrs. Carol Blue, Miss Judith faylor, Mr. Allen Templeton, Mrs. Mary Jane Major, Mrs. Barbara Spahn, and Mr. Craig Spreacker. Senior council members were Scott Ware, John Duran, Barbara Bennett, John Martens, Jackie Griffin, Arlene Romero, Frank Shope, Lynn Mason, Nancy Garcia, Jim Hensley, Leola Floren, Marvin Sanchez, Lynn Thun- borg, Ronnie Hill, Becky Osborn, Becky Garcia, Jim Thomas, Lorraine Gonzales, Chuck Weidman, Martha Olguin, Mike Hopkins, Orlando Gon- zales, Art Casias, Gaylord Lopez, Kathy Leyba, Sally Shoats, Eddie Herrera, Valarie Samford, Henrietta Aragon.
