Facult donate time to extra currlcular activities Extra time before and after school is spent sponsoring clubs. All organi- zations at West Mesa must be super- vised by a teacher. Every project undertaken by a club must be ap- proved by a faculty member who is responsible for all money-making projects. The group must carry out its tasks to make them successful. All field trips in town and out of town taken by a group must be chaperoned by school personnel who are responsible for the trip. Not only do clubs interest students but often allow teachers to follow a particular hobby. 28 Administration Selling an anti-pollution sticker to Stewart Howell is Ecology club sponsor, Mr. Rex Funk.
