It was composed of eight students and three faculty members. Representatives were chosen from each class council, the student coun- cil, and the athletic dept. The year- 220 Organizations book and newspaper editors 'were automatically members. John Mar- tens, senior, Nick Collaros, junior, Joanne Maes, sophomore: and Kim Smith, freshman, were selected from the class councils. Larry Wolfe for athletics and Pat Banks for student council were picked. Editors were Susan Bosl, yearbook, and Nancy Oberleitner, newspaper. Involved teachers were Mrs. Carol Blue, chairman, Mrs. E.R. Jaramillo, publications adviser, and Mr. Ster- ling Rodke. Betty Cable and Jim Dhaenens look up phone numbers of prospective advertisers for the MW. Taking time out to look over the latest issue of MW is editor Nancy Oberleightner and ass't. editor Ann Fallen.

Staff publishes nine issues, -L one features student talent Helping Lise Ballard with an article for the newspaper is Roger Gerdes. Jim Dhaenens is showing Laurel Cummings and Rhonda Vaughn a new page design for Mus- tang Wqrld. Being'a member on the staff on the Mustang World means more than having a little blue press pass to run around with. It means meeting people and getting into the atmos- phere of school activities by being on hand to report them. The Mustang World was published monthly at ten cents a copy. In one issue the student body participated, contributing their creative work. Between monthly issues the staff planned layouts for the next news- paper while the photographers took pictures of things happening a- round school.
