Club members boost WM spirit, attend all games Pep Club consisted of 66 members, three of whom were seniors, the others underclassmen. Although there weren't as many members as last year, the group had the spirit to make for fewer numbers. The largest spirit organization at WMHS attended all the varsity foot- ball games and the Mustangs, home basketball games. The girls didn't have any school transportation to and from the games, therefore they had to make a special effort to get to places on their own. MaryAnn Baca, president, held sum- mer meetings twice a week for one or two hours. The girls voted on a white turtle neck sweater with a WM letter, a red and blue panel skirt, royal blue gloves and red tennis shoes as this year's outfits. The group raised S65 on a car wash held last summer. The money was used as a down payment on equip- ment needed for members. Organizations 211
