Four unexpected days of vacation occurred right after the Christmas holidays due to the extremely cold weather. Albuquerque also had a slight earthquake which did minor damage to parts of the school. Hello, Out There and the Cave Dwellers, presented by the drama department, gave the audience a variety of comedy, tragedy, and melodrama. Seniors ordered caps and gowns during history classes. Class rings were delivered. '6Sometimes in Winter was the theme of a dance sponsored by the class of 373. Music by La Zombra set the pace for the evening. Variety show tryouts drew many WM talented performers.
