Leading roles in the hit drama Harvey are taken by Patty Cordova and Larry Smith. A playnight sponsored by Girls' Sports Club helped to fill the November extra-curricular calendar. School class rings were sold to seniors and juniors. The Senior Class and the bands had a Music Rock 1 + 1 Festival one day during lunches and study halls. A pep rally assembly was presented to the students to build up spirit for the forthcoming football game against Sandia High School. Cross Country had its state meet in Roswell. Harvey the first play given this year, was a big success. Action reached a higher pitch when West Mesa's mighty faculty played the Harlem Majcstics.
