Girls show athletic skills in basketball, baseball,v0lleyball r s r 4 Warming up for basketball are Loretta Lente, Nancy Dugger, Lorraine Funk, Jane Routzen, Joyce Cummings, Peggy Garcia, Alice Pacheco, Bridget Lundy, Larraine Tennison, Juleen Rees, and Ruth Tamura. Several sports were participated in by girls this year. They included basketball, volleyball, and baseball. To participate on a team, the girls had to tryout for a sport. Once a girl made a team she was automatically entitled to membership in the Girls Sports Club. After the teams were choosen the girls practiced everyday after school. When the season got under way, they played teams from other schools. Darlene Gurule, Thelma Johnson Marsha Lundy, Arleen Sanchez, and Pam Schneider practice rebounding for the next game.
