Trackmen begin practice in Feb., Cross-countr has good season Demanding the excellence of allfmembers in such sports as the long jump, discus throw, high jump, 100, 220, and 440 dashes, 880 and mile runs, and the mile and 440 relay was the goal of Mr. Louis Yannoni, Track and Field coach. According to Coach Yannoni, Cross-country is a sport in which all boys can participate. Their speed doesnit matter that much because we don't run a straight course. We run a course two-miles long with hills and flatlands. Six boys run at a time and we receive scores for the first five, one point for first, two for second, etc. The lowest score at the end ofthe meet wins.
