Freshmen Council Electing officers, workin g together begins first year After weeks of campaigning the Fresh- men elected their first year officers. Coordinating the council and class to work together was the main ac- tivity ofthe officers. The first activity was decorating the cafeteria during Homecoming. The council also sponsored a dance Febru- ary 5, 1971, with The Living End supplying the music. Council mem- bers sold Karate tickets in Febru ary. Sponsors of the class were Mrs. Jo Ann Street and Mr. John Epler. Members of the Freshmen Council were Gloriann Abeyta, Tillie Apodoca, Rudy Baca, Dolores Ball, Phillip Banks, Dolores Chavez, Patricia Cha- vez, Frances Cox, Vanessa Crader, Dennis Doughty, Kim Easley, Mar- cella Felix, Teddy Frueno, Virginia Quintana, Danny Herrera.
