reassignments delay beginning of student activity As days, weeks, and months passed, daily routine and special events depicted student life. Reassignments of students from different schools added much to the kalei- doscopic picture. Each student added to the unity of every day by just attending school or taking part in clubs, sports, and other organizations. Daily routine was a large part of student life. Each day brought friends together, and the familiar sounds of announce- ments, the new bells, conversation, and locker doors became evident. Special events such as Tacky Indian Tacky Day, Homecoming, pep rallies, Student Council Day, and Junior-Senior broke the monotony of routine. Indianettes Jan Jones and Kathy Harris march down North Tryon Street in Charlotte's annual Carrousel Parade. Suzanne Price and Janis Rhyne work on deco- rations for the Junior-Senior. Students enjoy i Former Homecoming queen D. Crisp crowns newly elected queen P Goodson as L. Bizzell and T.
