F orens Lcs 1970 brought with it a speech team we all should be proud of Seven students from West Linn qualijied for the state tournament. West Linn ranked ninth in the number of students participating in the meet, out of eighty-four other schools. Front those taking part, Bill Alsdotf was a finalist in Extemporaneous Speaking and Ken Klawitter was a Hnalist in After-Dinner Speaking. Debbie Lohman placed third place in Serious Interpretive Reading.
