Dedication We, the students of West Linn High School, wish to pay tribute to a man who, for.a quarter of a century, has giv- en his time and his energy to the students of West Linn. He is the head oi our science department and is consid- ered tops in his field. Many of West Linn's successful graduates remember with gratitude the years spent in his classroom, under his excellent instruction. In addition to his teaching, he is now student counselor, advisor for the Hi-Y and for the Camera Club. Thus our lives come into contact with his in many ways: and we appreciate his deep personal interest in us and his sound advice. It is with gratitude that we dedicate this volume to you, Mr. Gilbert Shearer, our teacher, counselor, and friend. We hope that you will continue to serve the young people of the community at West Linn High School for many years to come.
