Foreword Each year the graduating class of West Linn High School puts out what it believes to be the best annual of all. Although We were handicapped by the war in many of our activities, we feel the spirit of West Linn High has remained undaunted. It is our belief that students, faculty, and our alumni in the service have shown great loyalty and courage. We hope that in future years, as we look back, this annual will still be a reminder of the true West Linn High School spirit. Dedication This Annual is respectfully dedicated to our Superintendent and Principal, Iohn L. Gary. Iohn L. Gary, retiring principal of West Linn High School, affectionately referred to by the students as King Iohn, is a man who has rendered excellent service to our school for the past twenty-five years. During this time he has given un- sparingly of his time in the interest of the students and the faculty. Mr. Gary possesses a Winning personality and has shown remarkable ability in solving the many problems that have developed. While We regret his leaving We wish him prosperity and health and hope that his success in this new venture will be as great as it was at West Linn.
