Sing! is very well the motto of the girls who make up the Glee Club. The newly-formed organi- zation is composed of girls who de- sire to sing for pleasure. Throughout the year the club has presented var- ious assemblies to the college. The main project of the year was a trip to the area high schools where a music program was presented. The organiza- tion is under the direction of Mr. Nels Leonard. COLLEGE CHOIR The College Choir is composed of music majors and all who have a de- sire to sing. The Choir provided beau- tiful and inspiring music for the Christmas Assembly. They have also provided fine musical assemblies throughout the year. The purpose of this organization is to bring musical entertainment to the campus. The golden sound of the chorus may be fast, slow, cheerful, melancholy, soft or loud, but it goes on. The chorus is under the able direction of Dr. Wallis D. Braman. I 03 M. E. N. C. The Music Educators National Con- ference is part of a national organiza- tion comprised of music teachers in elementary and secondary education. The club is composed of future music teachers who are eager to gain a better understanding in the professional field of music education. At each monthly meeting, one member presents a selec- tion of his choice. Many members at- tended the state Music Educator's Na- tional Conference in Morgantown. The organization is under the leader- ship of Eddie Parshall, president.
