3 9 1 W L VARSITY BASKETBALL The Little Hilltoppers record this year showed seven victories and seven deteats. With the loss of CJeorge Folniar, ' ernon Co , |ohn Hacskaylo, ( Iharles Hacskaylo, and Charles Evans, a decided amount of strength was detracted Irom the team. The Board of Etlucation again granted the use ot the Clinton (Consolidated gym- nasium and provided transportation for haskethall practice. . 11 home games, with the exception of the Yorkville game, which was played at Clinton, were played in the West Liberty College gymnasium. There were many highlights in the season, tlie first being the surprise victory over Bethany on their fioor. The second surprise came when the Little Hilltoppers nosed out a thrilling victory over a good Yorkville team. Other victories were gained from the Alumni, McKinley Trade, and Sherrard. The team next year will he built around Ray Silver and Rav Richniontl as a nucleus, with a C]uintet of Freshmen who bid tair to become regulars in another vear. 28 H
