The crowd stood, the band played and the assembly began. Assemblies; a break from the normal routine. Though each assembly began the same, each one held something new and different. The holiday spirit was prevalent in numbers done by Orche- sis, Choir and Pom Pons, as everyone awaited the annual visit from Santa Claus, who brought many surprises for the faculty and holiday wishes for the student body. Despite the snowy days of 79 ' , Mr. John Goddard made his annual visit to share his adventures down the Congo River in Africa.
