Social Studies Seminar Social Studies Seminar is the place to be if one enjoys participat- ing in lively discussion of social issues. In SSS, students are given a broader background in the various aspects of the world today, Students and faculty took field trips and museum tours several times during the year. The schedule is planned by the clubis sponsor, Mr. Larry Crippin. This year, SSS was able to take an overnight tour to the Henry Ford Museum and Motor Company in Michigan as well as their annual trip to Springfield. SSS presented the films, Interviews with My Lai Veterans and A Plague on Your Children. Other activities included slide lectures by faculty members like Mr. Siscois, on his recent trip to Russia. EIHCCI' The Lancer staff works hard to put out a bi-monthly school newspaper, making paste-ups, taking and printing pictures, and writing and fitting copy. A new addition to the Lancer is Sylvia Sob Saver, who solves or at least listens to any student problems and then answers their letters. The Lancer staff sponsors the paperback bookstore.
