Hi Student Council This year's Student Council began another contro- versial year. Their biggest problem once again was the communication gap which exists between the adminis- tration, Student Council, and the whole student body. This year they tried to close that gap with a student poll for their annual concert and a fight to regain the old coke machine, which they got for a two week trial peri- od. During the year Student Council also organized all Homecoming activities, had a canned foods drive at Christmas, and collected for the March of Dimes. ABOVE: ROW 7: ILEFT TO RICHTJ: Co-secretary C. To the cheers and tears of all, our 1970 Home- coming Queen Terri Sullivan was escorted by football captain Ray Greely, to her seat of honor. Immediately following the crowning of the Queen came the traditional pep rally. This built up the spirit of all for the weekend activities ahead. That night found the Leyden Lovlies once again entertaining the V Show audience with their song and dance routine. Immediately following this year's V Show West Leyden once again had a bon fire, which was acquired through the hard work and efforts of Student Council.
