Seniors have put their best foot forward in many ways during their years at West Leyden. As Freshmen, they faced a great challenge. They were introduced to the many courses of study offered to them, and also to various clubs and organizations. Many Freshmen participated in Student Council, sports, and drama. By Sopho- more year, already accustomed to high school life, they watched proudly as the Frosh-Soph Track Team ended the season with a 14-6 record. As juniors, they faced the trials of a new system, Modular Scheduling. After working hard all year, they were able to sponsor the junior-Senior Prom, called Traces of Love. As Senior year rolled around, they realized the true meaning of the word upperclassmen . The memories of Home- coming, sports events, Charlie Brown Day, Spirit Week, Prom, and finally Graduation, will remain in their hearts forever. But the footsteps of each and every Senior will move on, down various pathways of life.
