Art I. 1 Music And Art Departments The Art and Music Departments have increased stu dent interest in self-expression through the many ac- tivities that have taken place during the school year. The school band and choir presented several concerts this year. A musical, Hello, Dolly , was also produced by the Music Department. The Art Department presented several art exhibits this year. Mr. Sowizdal, last year's department chair- man, was on a sabbatical leave in Mexico. The depart- ment expects to benefit from his studies of Mexican aft.

Industrial Arts Receives New Equipment The Industrial Arts Department offers students an opportunity to explore interest and aptitudes and to gain basic knowledge and experience in several areas. The drawing room got a dry printer this year, which is the newest process for turning out blue prints. The woodshop has received a high speed router which makes scallops and decorations on the face, edge, or end of wood. The metals class has acquired a paint spraying booth and a combination heat treating, forg- ing, and melting furnace. 27
